Alsike Clover

Alsike Clover (Trifolium hybridum) is a perennial forb native to northern US states (such as Minnesota, New York, and Idaho) and has also been successfully introduced across North America as a non-invasive legume that can thrive in USDA Zones 3–8. Reaching a mature height of 1–2 feet with an upright branching growth habit, it features smooth trifoliate green leaves and produces pink-and-white spherical flower heads. It thrives in cool, moist, acidic, or poorly drained clay soils and is ideal for wet pasture forage, soil nitrogen enrichment, and waterway cover.
