Baby Blue Eyes

Baby Blue Eyes (Nemophila meyersii / Nemophila menziesii) is an annual forb native to Western US states (such as California and Oregon) that can thrive in USDA Zones 3–10 as a self-seeding spring annual. Reaching a mature height of 6–12 inches with a low, succulent trailing growth habit, it features feathery, pinnately lobed green leaves and produces translucent sky-blue, cup-shaped flowers with white centers. It thrives in moist, well-drained soils in full sun to partial shade and is ideal for early-season ground cover, orchard floor plantings, and pollinator habitat.
