Mountain Phlox

Mountain Phlox (Linanthus grandiflorus) is an annual forb native to Western US states (such as California) that can thrive in USDA Zones 7–10 as a spring annual. Reaching a mature height of 8–20 inches with a slender, erect growth habit, it features deeply palmately divided, needle-like green leaves and produces dense terminal clusters of fragrant, funnel-shaped white to pale pink blooms. It thrives in dry, sandy or gravelly coastal hills, oak woodlands, and mountain slopes in full sun and is ideal for spring wildflower cover, slope stabilization, and native bee support.
